Short term aim of this website:

This website was set up to provide some fun science activities that could be done at home with household items during the first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.

These activities are suitable for Year 3 to Year 10. Some parental supervision or assistance may be required. Or perhaps, an older teenager can help younger learners.

Long term aim of this website:

To provide:

  • more complex science activities, and ones that require more than household items, post-lockdown

  • links to interesting science websites

  • to encourage a love and greater understanding of science

Please follow me on Facebook to keep up to date with the latest activities. I will also be posting on FB "Today in Science". This could be a birthday or celebration of a scientists' achievements or a special day, such as International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
