Who is Ms Lun?

In a previous life (pre-kids) I was a medical laboratory scientist (mainly biochemistry).  I have a Bachelor of  Medical Laboratory Science degree from Massey University in Palmerston North. 

I have volunteered at my two boys' primary school doing various science-based activities and was involved with the Parent Reading programme so I am passionate about education.

My other science educator role is with Science Expo (where I take a science roadshow to primary and intermediate schools in Auckland).

In July 2021, I started part-time as the manager of the South Auckland branch of House of Science. The branch officially opened in  August 2021, a week before another lockdown! I am excited to be part of this amazing initiative getting comprehensive science kits into South Auckland schools and supporting teachers to teach science effectively.
